Follow-up on the discussion

The first Hosting the Dance was held before the 2026 Bundanoon DanceFest with gratifying numbers in attendance and lively discussion. Thanks to Heather Clarke for the initiative and to Colin Towns and Jude  Stuart for bringing the idea to fruition.

But now comes the sifting through the many ideas expressed to present a useful summary and action plan.

Hosting the Dance was

* A day of connection, learning, and celebration  to support the people who sustain our vibrant dance traditions!

* Designed specifically for dancers and dance organisers, with the goal of strengthening networks, sharing knowledge, and sparking new ideas.

* Interactive discussions, expert insights, and collaborative sharing on many topics from marketing strategies and gender calling solutions to creating a vision for dances and establishing a central resource for our community.
