From 2026 AUSDAM will be running the Bundanoon DanceFest and more besides....  

The Main Aim

To promote healthy lifestyle and community cohesion by fostering interest and participation in traditional and contemporary social dance and its music.

Contributing Aims

* To encourage the use of live music with social dance
* To encourage a high standard of dance teaching and calling by providing classes, workshops, and performance opportunities and by recognition of excellence.
* To provide an umbrella organisation for regional dance and music events.
* To encourage the utilisation of traditional social dance and music and the development of contemporary social dances and music.
* To support dance and music research.
* To provide resources for dance callers and musicians.
* To maintain a community following through events, gatherings, social media, emails and newsletters.
* To raise funds through subscriptions and events and to utilise such funds to pursue the association's objects.1
